• Walk by la rue de Belleville, the main street of the Chinese district. Lively and affordable, this is a concentration of typical Chinese restaurants, shops and supermarkets.

• Stop by le Parc de Belleville, located on top of the district to admire the view above the city (more peaceful than in Montmartre, and as impressive)

• Find and admire street art located almost everywhere in the streets. The most famous is la rue Denoyez, full of graffitis.

• Have a walk and get lost in the streets to discover some bucolic streets and passages like la cité Leroy and la Villa de l'Ermitage.

Known as one of the Chinese districts of Paris, Belleville is most of all a multicultural and popular district where different types of communities cohabit.

Located on a hillside, it is mainly residential and peaceful. Belleville somehow looks like a village preserved of the frenzy of the city. Little winding streets opening on local cafés, flowered houses located in hidden passages, park offering a view above the city... Walking through Belleville may be like discovering a piece of countryside in Paris.

Full of street art, Belleville is also one of the favorite districts of artists, attracted by the affordable, peaceful and convivial environment.
